Boston PainCare Center’s Interdisciplinary Team
At Boston PainCare Center, we have an interdisciplinary team of medical specialists who work together to assess and diagnose all types of pain disorders, and determine the appropriate treatment. Our team is comprised of specialists from the following disciplines: Physical Performance Specialists: conducts assessments using compterized tools to establish objective baseline measurements and document patient progress. Physiatrist: provides specialized neurological assessment including electrodiagnostic testing. Also assesses patient pain and function levels, and determines appropriate physical therapy. Interventional Pain Specialists: provide a thorough assessment and evaluation in order to diagnose pain disorders and develop treatment plans. Provide interventional procedures including Epidural Steroid Injections, Facet Injections, Radiofrquency Ablations, and Spinal Cord Stimulators. Medication Management Specialists: provide a comprehensive and structured approach for patients who require pharmacoogical treatment. Behavioral Health Specialists: provide tools to help patients learn how to cope with the complexities of living with chronic pain. Sleep Specialists: specializes in the evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. Physical Therapists: focus on increasing patient strength and regaining functionality using specialized techniques and Monitored Rehabiliation Systems. Medical Assistants: assess clinical history, assist physicians in the coordination of care and testing. Nurse Practitioners: collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic pain patients. Nursing Staff: our team of nurses and medical assistants provide patitent education and help coordinate their plan or care. Patient Care Coordinator assists patients with the scheduling of appointments, insurance authrizations and other administrative functions. Director of Clinical Operations: manages all clinical operations of Boston PainCare Center. Director of Surgical Services: manages all clinical operations of Boston Surgery Center. Practice Administrator: manages all non-clinical operations of Boston PainCare Center and Boston Surgery Center. In additional to our “on-site” staff we have a large network of specialists to whom we regularly refer patients for specialized care. These specialists consist of physicians from many different disciplines including Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Rheumatology. Our goal is for every patient at Boston PainCare Center to receive the care they need to treat and manage their chronic pain.
