Steven J. Nathin, MD is a founding partner of Boston PainCare. He serves as President and Managing Partner.
Dr. Nathin is responsible for business development for Boston PainCare, Boston Headache Institute, Boston SleepCare and Boston Surgery Center. He also serves as Chief of Anesthesia for Boston Surgery Center.
Dr. Nathin graduated from Amherst College magna cum laude in 1988 where he majored in Economics and Chemistry. He graduated from New York University Medical School in 1992.
He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in 1996.
In 1996 he joined Greater Boston Anesthesia Associates as a staff anesthesiologist at Deaconess-Waltham Hospital. The group also provided anesthesia services at Milton Hospital from 2002-2008. Dr. Nathin received the ASA’s Certificate in Business Administration in 2001.
From 2005-2007, Dr. Nathin and his group created, developed, and designed the concepts for Boston PainCare, including overseeing the construction of the new facility which opened on May 1, 2007. He has served as President and Managing Partner since.
Dr. Nathin is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
